You Are …… And Our Identity in Jesus

Hello everyone!!  I hope you have had a wonderful week!  Has anyone been watching the winter olympics!!  I sure have!!    I  LOVE THE OLYMPICS!!!    There is still so much left in this school year but, I have already thought about summer and next year already!!  I know, I am a planner so I plan for just about everything.  I also like lists.  Anyways,  sometime this week or next week I am going to be asking my Mom to help me find those pictures from our mission trip to Thailand in the summer of 2016.  So, don’t you worry!!

Today, I wanted to talk about identity.  It is something that teens and everyone, struggles with. We all ask, who am I or why am I here?, at least once in our life.    Even if we know who we are, it is always a good idea to look and remember.  Almost, like when a king, queen, price, or princess puts on a crown.  That crown reminds them that there are royalty.  They know they are royal and so they put on the crown to remind themselves and other who they are.   (  P.S. We are all princesses or princes in Jesus)   Isn’t that cool?   It is amazing to show who we are.  That is what we do with Jesus.  We put on the crown of our identity to say I am a daughter or son of  God.  Since God is the King of the Universe, that makes us royal too.  Wedding-hair-accessories-Bride-crown-Tiaras-rhinestone-Jewelry-Quality-Crown-Vintage-Princess-Crowns.jpg

Also, identity, our identity is written in the Bible. Just take a look at the verses below..

Galatians 3:26 26So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith,

2 Corinthians 5:17 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

That is just wonderful.  My favorite verse, that I did not show above, also is about our identity.  The verse is..

This is who we are, period.  This is who we are meant to be and who we are growing into.

Jeremiah 29:11 11For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This is who we are.

God saysQUOTE-You-are-so-special

Remember who you are and you will be standing tall, warrior.

We are warriors too. 🙂

This is Kaelyn, signing off.

Until next week!!

Agape Love

Hi everyone!  It is Kaelyn here!!!   I am just going to be talking about Jesus and everything.   🙂  I may talk about my trip to Thailand.  I just need to find the pictures from it and all.

So, well today I want to talk about love because, love is such an amazing and beautiful thing.  Just imagine when you know you are loved by someone like your family, or your friends.  The best love of all is the agape love from Jesus.  Just think for a minute,  the Creator of the whole universe and of you, loves you and that you are His child.   Isn’t that just amazing?   Just imagine Him putting His arms around and saying, ” I love you.”   That just feels amazing.    Don’t you just love that?   (  See what I did there 😉  )

Also, here is the meaning of agape :  ( I found this meaning online)

Welcome to the Winter Games!!

olympic

Hi everyone! It is Kaelyn here and who is exited about the winter Olympic games this month?  I know I sure am.  I have watched the opening ceremony and there was a lot of nations that came in.  It was cool to watch our country walk in but, also see all the other nations coming in proud for their countries.  Also, have you thought about how a lot of those nations and athletes don’t know Jesus?  That is so sad!   So,  I looked up this verse about prayer and this is what it says, Ephesians 6:18 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the LORD’s people.

This is a great verse because God cares about everything, especially His people. So, this Olympics as we enjoy the fun sports, let us also pray for all of the nations that do not know you.   We will pray for out country, the other nations, the safety of the athletes, and others that do not know you.  May this be a time  of prayer as we watch the games.

I will continue watching and praying this week,  and I hope you will too.   I would love to  hear what our your favorite sports in the Olympics and if you have been watching them.  I love figure skating, snowboarding, and some of the skiing.   Also, be sure to pray a lot for the nations and for America.

Bye everyone and see you next week!!!

Baptisms and Airplanes and A NEW TOPIC!!

Hi everyone!!

It is Kaelyn here and today will be my last post on Mozambique but, don’t worry, I will be doing more posts.  It will be on something different but, it will be fun!

I will either talk about Thailand but,  I will probably do a couple of other things first.  I might put a story I did and also, some other fun things.  I would love some recommendations and you can put those in the comments below.  I would love to hear what you have to say!  I am open to any ideas.

So, back to Africa and I am talking about the baptisms we went and saw.  It happened at one of the pastor’s houses and we saw about over or around 100 people baptized.  They were baptized three at a time in a pool that they had.  It was like 70 degrees Fahrenheit outside and it might be a bit cold to get into the water.   Anyhow, they were all so happy and it was great to see and be a part of.

Time can fly by, but it was an amazing trip all and all.   Our last day finally came, and we said goodbye to our friends in Africa and we were sure to stay in touch with them.   At the Mozambique airport, we got on a plane to South Africa, and then a plan after that to London.   I did  feel a bit sick but, I felt better on the next flight, on our way home to America.  At  the London airport, we got on our last plane to Dallas, Texas. We ate at Chickfila and we drove home; tired but, happy to be home.

That is the end of our trip and I hope you enjoy the pictures  of the baptisms and on the way home.

So long, until next week and we will be talking about a story I wrote and some other exciting things to come

Keep on adventuring!!

The first picture is at the baptisms.  The second picture is some of the team members and my parents playing a card game at the airport. The third is of our team and I am in the blue shirt that has the word Hug.   The fourth is of us at the Mozambique airport and I am at the bottom left with the pink backpack.  The fifth is of me and my sister at gift shop at an airport.   I am wearing  the white shirt and we did not get those stuffed animals, we just got pictures. 🙂  The sixth is of us on an escalator and I am at the back behind my Mom in the grey shirt.  The last pictures is of the baptisms.
