So,  we had a lot of planes that we needed to ride to get back home.   We flew for about an hour or so on Thai Airways from Chaing Mai, Thailand to the capitol of Bangkok, Thailand.

After we got to Bangkok we  got on a plane with Qatar Airways with about a 8-10 hour flight to Doha, Qatar.    We did some cool things when we got to the Qatar Airport.  We went to a really cool toy store with robot  dinosaurs and a tree made out of LEGOS!!

There was metal playgrounds everywhere which were really fun to play on.  The weirdest thing there was a giant yellow stuffed bear with a lamp resting on his head.  I have a picture so, then you will understand.

Me, my Dad, and my sister with the stuffed bear at the airport.  We have jet lag in this picture so, we are a bit tired

This is a picture of a part of one of the metal playgrounds in the airport.  There was a lot of these everywhere!

This is of my sister and me on it the playground.  WE WERE TIRED BUT, WERE HAVING FUN!!   (  I was  12 when I went to Thailand in 2016)

Another  part of the metal playground.

The Qatar Airport.

We got on another plane with Qatar Airways for a long flight.   The flight was about 15 hours!  NO JOKE!!   We flew to the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and drove out of Texas back home.  It was long and I will never, ever forget this mission trip.  It was my first trip ever and I grew closer to Jesus.

Here are some other pictures of me and my sister at an airport on the way home. WE WERE SO TIRED!

Please continue to pray for the people of  Thailand.  I know my mission trip this year is in America.   I know probably next year, I will be going out of country and maybe doing a youth one in the States.   Thanks again and I will see you all on July 20th  when I am back!!

This is my second to last post on Thailand but, next week is talking about on the way back from Thailand.  Don’t worry!!  My youth mission trip to Oklahoma is coming up really soon!!!

Next week will be my last post for a bit because then I am going on vacation and then our youth mission trip.  I will not be able to write until July 20th, not counting next weeks post.

It is summer so,  it can get a little busy.  I have been adding some new blogs that I follow to my Me page so, you may want to go check that out!!

Now, back to THAILAND STUFF!!

We went to the mall all the time for outreaches. The mall we went to was HUGE!!  It had like four stories and the bottom one was an ice skating rink.  One time, while our parents and the rest of the team did outreach me, Lauren, and our missionary friend went to an arcade and got ice cream.  I was a little bit younger at the time so, that is why I did not go on everything but, I went to do just about everything. 🙂

Here is a pic. of us at the mall!!  My sister, our missionary friend, and me!

We went to different market places for outreach!!  You can go to past posts about the market where I told a pretty cool story!  We found this awesome t-shirt there!!

P.S. It is suppose to say I am tired but, accept it says I tried.  They know Thai well but, not as amazing with English.

We went to this really yummy salad place where I ordered a giant thing of salad!!!

On our last day there in Thailand before we went to the airport, we went to this Thai restaurant that looked like a rain forest!!  There were waterfalls, a pond, trees, flowers, and plants!!  It even had a koi pond.  Here are some pictures of us there!

The picture above is of my sister, our missionary friend, and me.  Me and my sister are wearing elephant pants that we got from our trip to the Sunday night market!!

The picture above is of our translator and my Mom.

This one is of my Dad, my sister, our missionary friend, my Mom, and me at the rain forest restaurant.

That is all for this week!!  This week, let’s pray that all the finances will come in for the long-term team in Thailand. Also, for some friends of our in Japan. ( Sounds a little random but, could you please pray?)   Then could you also pray for me and my sister’s youth mission trip that all our fundraising comes  in this month?  THANK YOU AND YOUR PRAYERS OUR POWERFUL!!

Village Part 2

Hello everyone!!

Welcome back to my blog posts about my two-week mission trip to Chaing-Mai, Thailand in the summer of 2016.   I just want to share some of my past adventures with you.

Also, at my church we sent out some teams to Dubai and Indonesia.  I was wondering if you would all pray for them while they are on their trips right now!!  THANKS!!

Now, back to the mission trip.

After we stayed with the family in the village, we went to a small hotel in another village.  It had a bout four twin size beds, a bathroom, and a really small TV.   I was thankful to have a place to stay at, that is for sure.

Before I continue, there are a couple of pictures from my last post I did not post.

So, here they are!!

This is the family who we stayed with in the village.

Also, the picture below is where we slept our first night there.

Now, where was I?  Oh yes, the hotel.   After we got all situated,  we went to a school that they had there where we did worship and we introduced ourselves.  We tried to teach them to say, Howdy!!, but that well, it kind of worked. 🙂 🙂

Anyways, we also went to this place where we had all of our meals.  It was usually pretty  good with also a nice little coffee place called Miracle Coffee.  Everyone thought it was a miracle to have coffee, well at least it was  to my coffee loving dad. 🙂

By the way, the food we had was pretty good accept they had fried frogs!! NO JOKE!!  It was absolutely disgusting looking!!  I did not try it but, some people on our team tried it and said it tasted like bacon.  IT ALSO SMELLED LIKE BACON!!  It was not just one part of the frog, IT WAS THE WHOLE FROG!!

Pretty gross, right? Now that I have your attention, it is time to go back to our second visit to the school.

We got there and we did worship, played Simon Says ( I am pretty sure it was Simon Says), and did prayer.  While we were there, they asked me to share my testimony of an illness that I had in 4th grade and how God helped me through it.  I had only 30 min. before I was suppose to go up.  I was the same age of quite a bit of the kids there.  I got up and shared what God did for me.

I had a brain disease called P.A.N.D.A.S.

I stopped remembering things, I did not act like myself, and to think about it now.  It is almost like a distant and blurry nightmare.

God helped me through it also, the part of my brain that has to do with music, was not effected.  God really helped me to use my voice to sing and praise Him when times were tough.

I shared this with them and it was pretty cool.  We did some prayer afterwards and kids came to Christ, and this one girl’s back got healed!!  We also prayed for another girl who was having some trouble to with some things.

Later, the pastor, who also translated for me when I was sharing, wanted me to tell the church on Sunday.  I shared it that upcoming Sunday.  I really grew on that trip.

Next week,  you get to hear about cool restaurants, malls, and universities.

I will see you next week!

Below I have some pictures, there is quite a few!! Well, see you next time and may you be filled with joy and worship our King and Savior!!

P.S. I have now 14 followers. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

We used the fried frogs as pranks!! We tied it to someones backpack on the team and we also put one in another one of missionaries mailbox!!

Now, time for me to talk about the village!!!!

So, we stayed in the villages for three days.  So, I am going to tell you about the first couple days  we were there.

So, we stayed in one of the family’s houses who went to the church in the village.   First, we went to a children’s home and/ or school to do some stuff with the kids.  We went to go put our stuff up at the house, ate lunch, ( IT WAS SO GOOD!!), and then went to go pray for people from house to house.  I know we did do that but, I don’t know in what order exactly. It has been a couple of years. 🙂  Anyways, we went back up to the school and had dinner with the kids and had these delicious fruits called rambutan.   We called them hairy cherries.  You can see why in the picture below.

Image result for rambutan

After dinner, we did a fun dance with the kids, painted the girls nails, and the guys got crosses painted on their cheeks.  We had some coloring pages about Jesus too.  Afterwards, we went to this small chapel they had there and did our two skits for them . We did a gospel one and one called the sin chair.   Prayer, worship, a short message, and teaching them the story of God’s salvation for us.

Awhile later, we went to the church in the village and we did more worship, and one of our team member’s prepared a sermon to share with the village.  Also, my Dad and another team member did some special music before we left.

We went back to the house tiered but, content.  We made it like a sleepover because we slept on the ground with blankets. 🙂   We got to pray for people and see salvation’s and healing’.   VILLAGE PART 2 is even more exiting and it just keeps getting better. 🙂

The road and a what looks like a shop in the village.

Sleeping in the village.

If I missed any other pictures from village part 1, I will put them in the post village part 2 but, with a this under the picture: ( VILLAGE 1)

Thanks again for reading!  Also, please pray for the villages of Thailand.  They may not always have the proper healthcare, water, or things that we may have.  Let’s keep praying for the government in Thailand and for all the missionaries there.

Thanks again for reading and for all the support you all have given!

Market Places and a COOL STORY!!

Hi everyone and thank you for being so understanding about last week!!

So, today about THAILAND!!!

So, we got to go to these really cool market places where we would hand out tracts and pray for people.

We went to this one market and my Mom felt like she was suppose to tell this one girl working there that she is like a rose.  She didn’t know but, she got a translator and told her that.  She said that was her favorite flower, even though roses are not native to Thailand, and we got to be able to pray for her.  I am really glad my Mom did that because that could  have changed that girl’s life forever.

We also went to this Sunday night market which was pretty cool. We got to drink out of a real coconut, eat at a two-story McDonald’s, see a little girl dancing, singers, guitarists, a person playing a violin, and even a guy playing a junk-made trash set!!

There was so many cool things!

Here are some pics:

The first is of my Mom, my sister, and the coconut. ( Can’t leave the coconut out.)  🙂

The second is of me, my sister, and one of our friends at the market. 🙂

Also, we got to go to a cat cafe!  It is a cafe where you  can order lemonades, coffee, and other stuff plus, there are bunch of cats everywhere!!  You could pet them and play with them too.   I got a strawberry lemonade and so did my sister. Our friend that took us, well, I don’t remember what she got.  It was a lot of fun!!

Here are some pics!!

The first is of me and a cat at the cafe.

The next is of us with the drinks we ordered 🙂

The before pictures with us and the cats

The after pictures with the cats

Well, that is all for today.

This week, let’s pray for the king and the government there to be restored and that they come to know Jesus. Thank you!!

NEXT WEEK: Village Part 1

AFTER THAT: Village Part 2

AFTER AFTER THAT:  Malls, Colleges, and Cool Restaurants

That is all and see you next week!!
